Welcome to Dunstable Cricket Club, we are probably the most sporting and hospitable Cricket Club in Bedfordshire.

Our website will give you an insight into Dunstable Cricket Club including details of membership, fixtures, cricket and leisurewear, social events, and other news, as well as links to our sponsors and other interesting websites. Please feel free to contact us for further details or alternatively why not visit the Pavilion and meet some of the members.

With the 2008 season underway the bar will be open on Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes and evenings, and all weekday evenings. With the colts coaching and playing matches on weekdays there’s plenty of cricket to watch down at Lancot Park.

We currently run 4 sides on Saturday’s playing in the Saracens Hertfordshire County Cricket League, and 3 sides on Sunday’s in the Bedfordshire County Cricket League and 1 side as a friendly XI. We had a successful season on Sunday’s in 2007 with our 1st XI finishing mid table in a strong premier league and our 2nd XI holding their spot in division one.

At Colts level we run sides at Under 10, Under 11, Under 12, Under 13 and Under 15 levels with a number of our promising Colts playing at Junior County level. We are probably one of the most successful Colts clubs in the County. Last year all our colts teams had a very progressive and successful season.

During the winter we run two sides in the Bedfordshire Indoor Cricket League which is played at the John Bunyan Centre in Bedford and there are also Indoor Cricket Leagues and Cups that the junior section compete in as well, which is at the Choice Cricket Centre in Redbourne.

We are an ECB accredited "Community Focus Club" and have gained Clubmark accreditation which recognises sports clubs who exhibit excellence in club organisation and have active policies relating to Equity, Child Welfare and Safety. In addition a full cricket programme for both senior and youth players, supported by appropriately qualified and accredited coaches and volunteers is a requirement.

We look forward to a successful season and seeing you in 2008.

Top marks for Dunstable Town Cricket Club in 2007

The 2007 Herts Cricket League Facility Marks show Dunstable at the top once again for the 4th year running.

The main pitch scored highly with the 1st and 2nd XI coming home with top marks in their Divisions at 8.20 and 8.47 respectively. The second XI score at 8.47 was the highest in any Division.

The Nursery Ground also scored well for the 3rd & 4th XI at 7.49 and 8.00 respectively, but didn't quite top the marks in both Divisions. We need to work on the Nursery Scorebox / scoring facilities for next season.

A few games where we could do with home fixtures next season would be for the 3rd's vs Hexton (scored just 3.56), and 4ths vs Rickmansworth III (scored just 3.44).

Well done Hilly and Roger!
